Hello Redwood City and beyond! We couldn’t be more excited to be your local indie bookstore.

We are Andrew and Taylor, and we moved to Redwood City in 2019. We have found a real home here, and Fireside Books & More is something of a love letter from us to this town.

Andrew is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and has lived in the Bay Area since 2009. He loves local communities, and Fireside Books & More is an homage to his own childhood bookstore.

Taylor was born and raised in Santa Rosa, just a couple hours north of RWC. She loves books and (like Andrew) being involved in her local community. So, Andrew couldn’t have chosen a better business, as far as she’s concerned!

Fireside aims to be more than just a store. We want to be a place where people can slow down and spend time in downtown. So please feel welcome to stop in, say hi, and relax in one of our cozy chairs.
